Cable Technician / Data Center Infrastructure Technician Build the Future of Connectivity

What You'll Do

+ Install, route, terminate, and test Cat5e and Cat6 network cabling.

+ Support the deployment and maintenance of network infrastructure in data center and enterprise environments.

+ Troubleshoot connectivity and cabling issues to ensure optimal system performance.

+ Document work performed using ticketing systems, spreadsheets, and inventory tools.

+ Read and interpret diagrams, layouts, and work instructions to complete projects accurately.

+ Assist with equipment installation, rack and stack activities, and infrastructure upgrades.

+ Collaborate with team members to meet project milestones and operational deadlines.

+ Provide basic technical support and help resolve infrastructure-related issues.

What We're Looking For

+ Experience working with Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, low-voltage systems, telecommunications, or structured cabling.

+ Basic understanding of networking concepts and IT infrastructure.

+ Comfortable using Excel and other computer-based documentation tools.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

+ Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

+ CompTIA A+ Certification

+ CompTIA Network+ Certification

+ Experience working in data centers, construction, warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics environments.

+ Familiarity with ticketing systems, inventory tracking, and technical documentation.

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds regularly.

+ Comfortable standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and working on your feet throughout the day.

+ Ability to safely move equipment, server racks, carts, and materials as part of a team.

+ Willingness to work in varying temperatures and wear required safety equipment (PPE).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Berwick, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
