Our independently owned Jackson Hewitt office in Berwyn is looking for a dynamic, friendly, and dependable person who enjoys helping customers and works well with others.

English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus as we serve a large Spanish speaking community.

• Welcome clients, build positive relationships, and provide friendly, attentive service from their first visit through completion of their return.
• Gather and review client information, prepare accurate individual federal and state tax returns, and explain results clearly using the training and procedures required for the position.
• Work with the team to manage appointments, answer calls, follow up with clients, and keep the office running smoothly.

Previous customer service, retail, or other public-facing experience is valuable. Tax preparation experience is preferred, ideally two years or more. Experience with tax preparation software and systems—especially Jackson Hewitt is a plus.

Successful completion of required training is necessary before you are authorized to prepare returns. You must also obtain or renew a valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) for the applicable calendar year before preparing returns.

This is an in-person, seasonal position in Berwyn. Applicants must be available throughout the tax season, including weekends and occasional evening shifts. Please provide your available days and hours and your earliest start date.
