About Dragon Gym
Dragon Gym is a Chester County staple for youth development through movement—martial arts, games, and character education—serving families in Exton, Malvern, Berwyn, and Phoenixville.
Responsibilities- Lead and assist with daily camp blocks: movement games, crafts/enrichment, team challenges, and reflection circles.
- Model and coach positive behavior; run small group transitions; keep kids engaged and safe.
- Communicate clearly with parents at pick-up/drop-off; support senior staff with camper notes and incident logs.
- An Education/ECE major or related field (or equivalent youth leadership experience).
- Energetic, reliable, and coachable; comfortable leading groups of 8–12 kids.
- CPR/First Aid willing (we can help you certify).
- Background checks required (PA State Police, Child Abuse, FBI).
June–August 2026, M–F, ~35–40 hrs/week; some half-day weeks available.
$15–$20/hour (based on experience) + performance bonuses; staff shirts provided.
Paid training; professional reference; pathway to school-year instructor roles.
Real classroom-adjacent experience: lesson flow, SEL, parent comms, and behavior guidance.
