Position: Full-Time Gastroenterologist

Gastroenterologist – Loyola Medicine ola Medicine at Mac Neal Hospital invites applications for a full‑time clinical practice gastroenterologist. The ideal candidate should have exceptional skills in general gastroenterology, ideally with a clinical focus in the management of common upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions. Interventional skills including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) are preferred but not required. The candidate should be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology and possess an Illinois license at the time of appointment.

The successful candidate will be at the rank of Assistant Professor and will be joining a busy community‑based practice providing inpatient and outpatient care. This opportunity offers an excellent work‑life balance, covering one hospital and one clinic with the assistance of advanced practice providers. Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care.
  • Manage common upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Possibly perform interventional procedures, including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) as required.
Qualifications
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Illinois medical license at the time of appointment.
  • Exceptional skills in general gastroenterology with a clinical focus on managing common upper and lower GI conditions.
  • Interventional skills including EUS and ERCP preferred but not required.
  • Candidate eligible for J1 waiver.
