Cytotechnologist – Registry (Part-Time)
Location: Loyola Medicine
FTE: 0.1 minimum (4 hours/week)

About The Role
As a Cytotechnologist
, you will perform and interpret high-complexity cytology testing used in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease and play a vital role in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cytology laboratory testing, including pre-analytical processes, in accordance with SOPs and accreditation standards
- Conduct and evaluate quality control procedures on tests, equipment, reagents, and media
- Implement corrective actions to ensure accuracy and reliability of patient results
Education
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree – Cytotechnologist or a related field
Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in a clinical or laboratory setting
Certification
- ASCP Cytotechnologist Certification (Required)
