Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to lead and manage our purchasing and materials sourcing functions. This role is vital to ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services that meet quality and project requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong negotiation skills, supplier relationship management, and a deep understanding of procurement strategies in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support company objectives and project schedules.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure cost savings, quality, and on‑time delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Oversee purchase order management, vendor selection, and performance monitoring.
- Work closely with project managers, engineering, and operations to forecast material needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate logistics to avoid supply chain disruptions.
- Conduct cost analysis and implement cost‑saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Develop and maintain a preferred supplier list and ensure alignment with company standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in, Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial contracting.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication, industrial equipment, and construction materials is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Base salary of $80,000–$90,000, depending on experience and skillset
