Location:

Bessemer, AL (Job sites within a 2-hour radius of Birmingham, including Huntsville, Chattanooga, Montgomery. Upcoming work in GA and Knoxville)
Position Type:
Direct Hire (Full-Time)

C.N. Bailey & Co is a well-established general contractor specializing in building fast food restaurants across the Southeast, including Taco Bell, Milo's, Taziki's, and 7 Brew Coffee. Family founded; the company has built a strong reputation for high-quality construction with over 40 years of industry experience. The company also engages in commercial office building projects and is licensed in several states.

• Reading and Interpreting Plans:
  Understanding and executing construction plans, drawings, and blueprints.
• Build-Outs:
  Oversee and manage the construction of restaurant build-outs, from start to finish.
• Close-Outs/Punch Lists:
  Ensure that the job sites are completed to specifications and manage the close-out process for all projects.
• On-Site Management:
  Manage on-site labor, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and adherence to project timelines.
• Project Reporting:
  Regularly report on the status of projects, issues encountered, and the progress made towards completion.

• Experience in construction (preferably in commercial or residential construction).
• A degree in building science or a related field (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering) preferred.
• Understanding of construction processes and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in managing commercial construction projects from start to finish a plus.
• Deep understanding of building plans, schedules, and closeout processes a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams of workers a plus.
• Experience with fast-food restaurant builds is preferred but not required.
