Customer Service Rep

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and customer service industry, is seeking a Customer Service Rep to join their team. As a Customer Service Rep, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting the Customer Service Team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong desire to deliver exceptional service, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Customer Service Rep

Location: Bessemer, AL

Pay Range: $18.75/hour

Shift: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 9:00am - 8:00pm

What's the Job?

• Assist customers and business partners via telephone and email to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution
• Handle customer complaints in a calm, professional manner to maintain positive relationships
• Diagnose, assess, and resolve problems or issues related to deliveries and services
• Monitor progress of delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Process changes or cancellations to delivery orders efficiently and accurately

What's Needed?

• Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel, and Power Point
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-year related experience preferably within a call center environment
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to satisfactorily resolve issues
• Solid ability to multitask with exceptional organizational skills
