Technical System Analyst

Are you a technical problem-solver who enjoys bridging the gap between operations and engineering? A leader in final mile logistics solutions is looking for a Technical Systems Analyst to optimize their transportation and warehouse technology platforms.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bessemer, AL, perfect for someone who is comfortable working with both data and code to support scalable logistics operations.

• System Optimization: Serve as a subject matter expert for Descartes Bearware (RDS), PCS Trac, and Dispatch Science (TMS).
• Technical Development: Develop and maintain custom scripts, services, and automations using C# to support rating, scanning, and integrations.
• Data Mastery: Write and maintain SQL queries for reporting, validation, and troubleshooting while ensuring database performance.
• Integration Support: Design and enhance integrations between TMS, WMS, scanning platforms, and APIs.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support, diagnosing complex issues involving system behavior and data inconsistencies.
• Documentation & Training: Own the technical documentation lifecycle, including process diagrams and SOPs, and provide technical guidance to warehouse and logistics teams.
