Rail Spike Inventory/Quality Coordinator

This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate finished goods and physical parts inventories as well as overseeing our quality program. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: maintaining rail spike finished goods inventory through our computerized inventory programs, ensuring daily production and/or shipping is accounted for accurately, maintaining physical spare parts inventory levels which will include re-ordering as well as performing cycle counts at end of each month, and overseeing the quality program ensuring all documents are maintained and updated accordingly, Other job functions include operation of forklifts which will require the completion of Crane/Mobile equipment physical.

The successful candidate will be working collaboratively with all Rail Spike teammates to ensure the best interests of Nucor are met.

The qualified candidate must be willing to work weekends and holidays if necessary. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
