We are looking for a Ductile Iron Fabrication and Production Threader Operator to join our team in Bessemer/McCalla, AL. • Follow OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Make and deliver a quality product that meets customer requirements by measuring, cutting, threading, and flange assembling ductile iron pipe.
• Test pipe assemblies for leaks.
• Troubleshoot issues with fabrications and equipment.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience fabricating ductile iron pipe (preferred).
• Knowledge of fabrication machinery and equipment (preferred).
• Welding knowledge and experience (plus).
• Knowledge and use of measuring devices, materials, equipment, and tools used in pipe fabrication.
• Ability to read and understand safety procedures, technical drawings, and production orders, and ensure each order and project are completed correctly.
• Strong work ethic, desire to learn, and commitment to customers, the team, and the company.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Must pass a drug screening.
• Self‑motivated with leadership qualities; must comply with company policies and safety procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong desire to serve the customer by producing quality products on time.
