Mechanical Technician

As a Mechanical Technician, you will work at the forefront of the manufacturing facility, where you will be directly involved in the upkeep, repair, and management of mechanical systems and machinery critical to the production process. Your role will focus on ensuring machine reliability and performance, contributing to the continuous improvement of our operational effectiveness in line with EMPLOYER-DESC .

Responsibilities

• Performing scheduled and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical components including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drives.
• Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Documenting maintenance procedures and keeping records of repairs and replacements.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
• Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
