Location: 3152 Dublin Ln, Ste 102, Bessemer, Alabama 35022
Work Shift: 12hr-C Shift 7a-7:30p Bessemer (United States of America)
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr. (base pay)
Schedule: 7:00AM-7:30PM
We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator in Bessemer. As a Machine Operator, you will operate blow mold, grinder, and trimmer machines, as well as the conveyor system. You will troubleshoot process problems, perform minor maintenance, and work closely with co‑workers to ensure smooth, efficient production.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and regulatory agency requirements
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
- Control and adjust machine settings, such as speed
- Operate blow‑mold machines (including wheels, reciprocator, or shuttle machines)
- Perform audits, weighings, and quality checks
- Check output for machine‑related mistakes or flaws
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Enter data into SPC database for quality control measures
- Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and carry out minor repairs on blow mold and support equipment
- Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines
- Maintain activity logs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years' experience as a machine operator
- Working knowledge of diverse high‑speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills
- Experience with machine maintenance
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Ability to work overtime
- Physical stamina and strength; able to stand for long periods
- Completion of Altium Production/Machine Operator training within 90 days of hire date

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
Additional ConditionsReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
