Retail Team Member

Description

A Retail Team Member is a friendly seasonal hourly employee that safely stocks, sells merchandise goods, and has exceptional Guest service skills.

• Assist Guests with selecting and purchasing merchandise and services.
• Assist Guests with renting and accessing lockers.
• Assist Guests with renting strollers and wheelchairs.
• Assist lost children and parents.
• Operate point of sale equipment.
• Adhere to all credit card handling procedures.
• Keep merchandise racks and shelves stocked and organized.
• Price retail items using pricing tools and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of retail store, fitting rooms, storage rooms, strollers, lockers and cabanas.
• Assist team Lead and Supervisor with inventory control.
• Assist team Lead and Supervisor with merchandise orders and receiving deliveries.
• Be friendly, smile, and greet Guests.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Report Guests that do not pay for goods or services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to speak and read English fluently.
• Jefferson County Food Handlers Card.
• Must be proficient with basic mathematics.
• Must be able to work well with others and work in a team environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

• Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position stock weighing up to thirty pounds.
• Ability to unpack merchandise, prepare it for sale, and place it on display.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and lift.
• Ability to climb a ladder and a footstool.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard, touch screen, and mouse.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in hot, cold, humid, dry, sunny, rainy, and windy weather.
