As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related issues, and support access control and incident response. You will communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and your team while delivering a customer-focused experience.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or public responders when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Control access for employees, contractors, and visitors using site protocols, verifying identification and/or authorization prior to granting entry.

+ Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate pertinent information to oncoming personnel and site leadership.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
