Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility equipment and building systems. The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and help ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality service.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC-related issues.
- Complete assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems and equipment.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status updates.
- Assist with installation, modification, and improvement projects.
- Maintain compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when necessary.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
This is a Contract position based out of Bessemer, AL.
The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
