Position Overview:

The Yard Worker prepares wrecked vehicles for auction by cleaning, inspecting, documenting, and staging vehicles in a large outdoor yard. This role involves frequent vehicle entry/exit, use of handheld technology, and working safely around damaged vehicles in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean vehicle interiors and remove debris.
• Collect and secure personal belongings found in vehicles.
• Wrap broken glass and sharp edges for safety.
• Document vehicle details, VINs, damage, and condition using a handheld device.
• Take vehicle photos for auction records.
• Move and stage vehicles throughout the yard.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Follow all yard safety procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bessemer, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
