The City of Bessemer is seeking a Senior Water Utility Service Worker to coordinate, assign and assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of water transmission systems. The role involves operating equipment such as tapping machines, backhoes, and trenchers, and monitoring water quality tests.
Ideal candidates will have a valid driver's license with CDL ability within 6 months, ADEM Grade I certification with potential Grade II, and proven experience leading water main projects.
