Concrete Mold Setter / Form Carpenter

A prefabricated building systems manufacturer specializing in electrical substation control buildings and communication shelters is seeking an experienced Concrete Mold Setter / Form Carpenter. This role is ideal for someone who can immediately contribute to increased production and efficiency while maintaining high quality standards in a plant environment.

• Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

• Prepare mold beds used in the casting of concrete buildings

• Inspect and verify concrete forms for proper construction and quality

• Ensure proper measurements per blueprints and drawings

• Set up and align forms to required pitch and depth

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings

• Accurately use a tape measure to ensure molds meet specifications

• Utilize hand and power tools as directed

• Perform general cleanup and housekeeping duties

• Handle rebar and wire mesh as required

• Operate equipment (forklifts, lifts, etc.) after proper training

• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisor

• May drive or ride in a company vehicle with prior authorization

• Minimum age: 18 years old

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid Driver's License

• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

• Strong knowledge of basic construction math

• Proficient with hand and power tools

• Ability to expertly read a tape measure and blueprints

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Physically able to:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs

  • Work on knees

  • Work outdoors when necessary

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Reliable transportation

• Strict start time: 7:00 AM

• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed

• Flexible end of day; may be required to stay past 3:30 PM until tasks are completed
