MECHANICAL DOOR INSTALLER

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Mechanical Door Installer for a company based in Bessemer, AL.

Pay is strictly dependent on experience

Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 4 3 0 pm.

• Cut, Measure, Move, and Install materials, equipment, or supplies.
• Use Blueprints to Install Door Hardware including Hinges, Stoppers, and Handles
• Adjust doors to open or close with the correct amount of effort or make simple adjustments to electric openers.
• Carry springs to tops of doors, using ladders or scaffolding, and attach springs to tracks to install spring systems.
• Install door frames, rails, steel rolling curtains, electronic-eye mechanisms, or electric door openers and closers, using power tools, hand tools, and electronic test equipment.
• Assemble and fasten tracks to structures or bucks, using impact wrenches or welding equipment and structural components.

• High school diploma
• Prior experience in Door installation
• Ability to perform job specific physical requirements under the specified working conditions including but not limited to:
  Willing to Work on Knees, Willing to Work Outside When Necessary, and Can lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to read a lined tape measure to a 32nd of an inch.
