Modular Construction Carpenter – Framing & Finish

Compensation is based on your experience and skill set, is negotiable, and will be finalized during the interview.

A day in this role

You’ll start by reviewing drawings and production schedules, mapping out dimensions and materials. On the line, you’ll frame modular components in wood and metal, then transition into precision finish work—doors, cabinetry, flooring, drywall, paneling, ceiling systems, and hardware. Throughout the day you’ll measure, cut, assemble, and verify alignment, repairing any damaged sections as needed to meet rigorous quality standards. Some weeks, you’ll pack up and head to active construction sites to support installation, repairs, warranty tasks, and final closeout activities.

What you’ll handle

Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine layout, dimensions, and materials.

Build and assemble wood and metal framing for modular units.

Install doors, cabinetry, frames, subfloor and flooring, drywall, paneling, ceiling grid/tile, wall accessories, hardware, and wall protection.

Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy, fit, and alignment.

Cut, shape, and assemble materials with hand and power tools.

Remove and repair/replace defective or damaged sections.

Collaborate with the production team to achieve throughput goals.

Inspect completed work to verify quality standards.

Travel to active construction sites to support installation, repair, warranty, and project completion activities.

Take on additional tasks as assigned.

What you bring2+ years of carpentry or construction experience.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.

Proficient with measurement tools and layout.

Skilled with hand and power tools.

Comfort lifting 50–75 lbs and performing sustained physical work.

Keen eye for detail and craftsmanship.

Follows instructions and all safety procedures.

Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Willing and able to work in manufacturing facilities, outdoor sites, and non-conditioned environments.

Willing to travel for extended periods to active project sites as required.
