School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Bessemer, Alabama

• Active and valid ALSDE Speech Language Pathologist certificate required
• Successful completion of background check through ALSDE
• Previous experience in educational or school-based environments preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple age groups
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Craft and execute individualized treatment plans that address each student's unique needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress records adhering to school and state guidelines
• Consult and work closely with educators and families to maximize student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent conferences as needed
• Adapt intervention approaches to support students across Pre K through 12th grade
