Operational Support Associate - RS - Weekends

Responsibilities

The Receiving Support Specialist (RSS) supports the Receiving department by verifying shortages and overages, receiving, processing, stocking, selecting, moving, and loading manufactured goods received by the distribution center in preparation for shipment to Lowe's retail stores. The RSS identifies receiving issues such as damages or barcode problems and notifies supervisory personnel for resolution.

• Work a set schedule that may be changed or modified by management based on the needs of the facility.
• Availability to work morning, afternoon, nights, or weekends depending on assigned shift; overtime as needed.
• Work in a distribution/warehouse environment with the physical and environmental aspects typical of such settings.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds; ability to lift up to 70 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Strong safety orientation and a proven record of complying with safety requirements.
• Consistent and reliable on-the-job contribution record.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision or with a team.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in distribution center operations or previous warehouse experience.
• Experience operating power equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, yard truck).
• Experience performing detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced working environment.
• Experience using spatial reasoning to position product effectively.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills.
