Summary
Bethalto East Primary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Kindergarten Teacher. This full‑time position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about fostering a positive learning environment for young students. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and staff to support the educational development of each child.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans that align with state standards and school curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, classroom activities, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, special education staff, and administration to support the needs of all students.
- Organize and participate in school events, parent‑teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that promotes a safe and conducive learning atmosphere.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Valid Professional Educator License with appropriate Elementary or Early Childhood Education Endorsement.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies for early learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Proficient in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
