** JOB SUMMARY
** Southern Nazarene University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a graduate assistant coach for the SNU Men’s & Women’s Rugby Program as it competes in the NCR DI category. The successful candidate will have a mature, growing relationship with Christ and collegiate coaching/playing experience.  Applicants must be willing to lead our JV program if applicable and assist as a member of the varsity coaching staff in all areas.

** RESPONSIBILITIES

* Essential Functions:

*** Assist the Head Coach in providing leadership for the SNU Men’s & Women’s Rugby Program.
* Play an integral role in the day-to-day administrative responsibilities, player/team spiritual development, daily team training, evaluation and recruitment of student-athletes, academic monitoring, and skill development of players.
* This position must work within SNU and NCR guidelines to provide student-athletes with an exceptional collegiate experience while competing for championships.## Qualifications

* College undergraduate completion
* Minimum of two years of related work experience and/or relevant training
* Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Some coaching experience
* Experience in higher education
** Supervision Received:
** Receives supervision and work assignments from a designated supervisor, although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction.
** Supervision Exercised:
** May be responsible for the coordination of work assignments for student employees.
