We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Substitute at ELEM-HS. This position requires a passionate educator who can provide consistent support to our students and maintain a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to step into various roles within the school, and committed to fostering student growth and engagement.

• Assume teaching responsibilities in the absence of regular staff, delivering lesson plans and ensuring that educational objectives are met.
• Maintain classroom management and create a positive learning atmosphere for all students.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student learning and development.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities as required.
• Monitor student behavior and provide guidance and support to enhance their educational experience.
• Keep accurate records of student attendance and performance during assignments.
• Uphold school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
• Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching license as required by local regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles quickly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and an understanding of various learning needs.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance learning experiences.
• Background check clearance as required by school district policies.
