The School of Music is seeking a qualified instructor to teach undergraduate students at the university. The qualified candidate will be committed to teaching excellence, innovation, and program development.

• Teach course(s) assigned to the instructor
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships
• Ability to work independently

• Understanding of the importance of diversity, inclusion and equity
• Master’s degree in music or at least 18 hours toward a graduate degree in music
• Minimum of two years of related work experience and/or relevant training
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple demands in fast-paced work environment

• Doctorate degree in music
• Experience teaching at the university level
• Evidence of the ability to recruit and retain quality students
