The Nursing Assistant assists the patient care team by performing activities of daily living such as feeding meals, bathing and general hygiene, monitoring vital signs and donning/doffing splints and/or orthotic devices. This position provides compassionate and competent nursing care so that we have the opportunity to feel the joy of impacting the life’s of our patients, their families, and our co-workers.

• Education:
  
  High School graduate or GED with specialized training. Ability to speak, understands, read, and write English required.
• Experience:
  
  No previous experience required; at least one year experience in healthcare is preferred
• License/Certification/Credential: CPR certification preferred.

Bethany Children’s Health Center (formerly The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital) located in Bethany, Oklahoma is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA), a safety sensitive position is defined as any job that includes tasks or duties that the employer believes could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others. This statute allows Bethany Children’s Health Center to refuse to hire an applicant or discharge an employee in a safety-sensitive position, who tests positive for marijuana even if the applicant or employee holds a valid Oklahoma medical marijuana license.
