International Pentecostal Holiness Church – Chief Financial Officer
by | Jun 14, 2026
The International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to help steward the financial resources of a global movement committed to advancing the Gospel, strengthening churches, and equipping leaders around the world. Rooted in more than a century of Spirit‑empowered ministry, IPHC serves in over 100 nations and supports thousands of churches, pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders who are working to see lives transformed through the hope of Christ.
The Chief Financial Officer serves as a key leader within the Global Ministries Center, providing strategic oversight of finance, human resources, information technology, risk management, and administrative services. Partnering closely with the General Superintendent, Finance Committee, and denominational leadership, this leader will help guide financial strategy, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and ensure resources are stewarded with excellence to support ministry impact across the United States and around the world.
This is a unique opportunity for a mission‑minded financial leader who feels called to use their gifts in service of the Church. As IPHC enters an important season of organizational transition and future growth, the next CFO will play a vital role in helping steward the resources, relationships, and vision that will shape the denomination's next chapter.
RequirementsStewarding Resources for Kingdom Impact: The right candidate sees financial leadership as more than a profession. They understand that a well‑managed budget, a clean audit, and a sound investment strategy are not ends in themselves — they are what make church planting, global missions, and leadership development possible. This person is motivated by that connection. They bring financial discipline and a genuine love for the Church, and they find deep satisfaction in helping a ministry organization operate at its best.
Driving Financial Strategy and Organizational Strength: This leader brings serious financial experience, ideally within a nonprofit, denomination, or mission‑driven organization of real complexity. They are equally comfortable setting long‑term strategy and managing the details of day‑to‑day operations. Budgeting, forecasting, compliance, risk management, and investment oversight are all familiar territory. What sets them apart is their ability to hold all of that together without losing sight of why it matters.
Partnering with Bishops and Executive Leadership: They have earned trust at the highest levels of an organization. They communicate financial realities clearly, offer counsel without overstepping, and know how to build alignment across diverse and sometimes complex leadership structures. They are as comfortable in a boardroom as they are in a one‑on‑one conversation with a ministry leader trying to make a difficult decision.
Building Systems that Serve Ministry: They are a builder by nature. Not someone who inherits a broken system and simply manages the damage, but someone who looks at what exists and asks how it could be stronger. They value accountability and internal controls, and they know how to improve processes in ways that actually serve the people doing the work.
Leading Through Complexity and Change: Layered organizations with multiple stakeholders do not intimidate them. They have navigated complex reporting relationships and governance structures before, and they know how to lead with transparency and credibility when the path forward is not always clear.
Investing in People and Culture: They are a developer of people. They lead with clarity and consistency, foster collaboration across departments, and create environments where high performance and genuine care for others are not in tension. They hold people accountable because they believe in them, not simply because it is required.
Leading with Humility, Wisdom, and Conviction: Above all, they are steady. Not flashy, not self‑promoting, but deeply trustworthy. They see this role not as a career milestone but as a calling, and they bring the kind of quiet…
