Job DescriptionGeneral Overview:
This job is an integral part of the care delivery system working together to provide a healing environment, by placing our customers first. The incumbent provides specialty and critical care healthcare services in physician office(s) and non-acute based settings with a focus on chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization within the CRNP scope of practice.
Specialty certification, advanced procedures with appropriate privileging, weekend and on-call coverage on a rotational basis, as required. E-consults and telehealth could be included in the care provided.
Consider joining our Medical Oncology/hematology team as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in an independent outpatient clinic role. You will be responsible for managing your own patient panel and contributing to comprehensive hematologic care. While exercising significant autonomy in your practice, you will have a designated physician available for direct support, consultation, and supervision, ensuring compliance with all state licensure regulations and providing expert guidance and resources for the management of complex clinical cases.
EssentialResponsibilities
Required:
- Master's degree MSN from the practicing State Board of Nursing Approved Master's Program
- National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners through an accredited association
- Practicing-state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Prescriptive Authority from the practicing state Within 60 days of hire
- Drug Enforcement Agency Licensure Within 60 days of hire
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current PA Physician Assistant License
- PA-C or board eligible. Ongoing successful recertification (NCCPA) as a PA-C Within 90 days of hire
- Drug Enforcement Agency Licensure Within 60 days of hire
- CPR - American Heart Association
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
