Purpose
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing and enhancing the efficiency of warehouse activities across retail locations. This position supervises warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, ensuring the smooth execution of daily freight schedules based on inventory and customer demands.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements- 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for team building, delegation, and follow‑up.
- Able to maintain effective working relationships with different departments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in basic math and competent in using Windows‑based systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Willingness to work extended hours, especially during peak periods.
- Oversee the daily scheduling of warehouse staff to optimize productivity in shipping and receiving processes.
- Direct daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
- Manage warehouse transactions and ensure the accurate staging of products.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained, conducting preventative maintenance and coordinating repairs.
- Implement safety programs to maintain a clean and safe workplace in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Train staff on standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline warehouse operations.
- Prepare Activity Reports for management review.
- Track paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control for prompt data entry.
- Address any discrepancies related to shipping, invoices, and packing slips.
- Ensure efficient inventory rotation and proper product storage to maximize space and safety.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
- Warehouse environment with exposure to moving vehicles, typically moderate to noisy levels.
This role involves physical tasks requiring the exertion of 30 - 60 pounds of force occasionally and 20-30 pounds frequently. Constant movement of objects under 20 pounds is expected. Tasks may include using hands and fingers, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and frequent bending.

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pickup HoursMonday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
