What you will be doing:

As an entry-level eligibility position, you will handle case management and workflow characterized by limited interpretation and application of policies and procedures. As the first point of contact for clients across all access points (e.g., Virtual Contact Center, lobby, and non-lobby), the ET 1 performs entry-level, technical eligibility determination work that requires applying attention to detail, following policy, regulations, and processes to ensure Alaskans in need receive timely determinations of benefits, correct information, and guidance to resources.

This position joins a statewide eligibility workflow team in local Public Assistance offices across the state.

One year of experience that included: applying statutes, regulations, program requirements, or similar criteria or guidelines in order to process, review, and evaluate such documents as applications for employment, programs or services, loans, licenses, and/or permits; documents associated with insurance or employment benefit enrollment or claims, investigations or collections; and/or tax processing, investment, real estate transactions, or similar work.
