- Perform and report clinical laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank with accuracy and care
- Execute quality control procedures and maintain instrument performance to ensure reliable patient results
- Communicate clearly and professionally with physicians, nurses, and patients about test status and results
- Operate and troubleshoot clinical laboratory instrumentation and support routine maintenance
- Provide direction and supervision to Medical Laboratory Assistants and help train new staff
- Follow and document competency checklists and maintain regulatory and safety compliance
- Prepare and maintain required onboarding documentation to meet credentialing standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field (required)
- Board eligible by NCA or ASCP at hire and must complete board certification within one year
- Certification at MT by ASCP or CLS by NCA within one year of employment
- 1–3 years of related experience in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology or completion of a formal clinical internship
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and direct laboratory support staff
- Current photo SSN (required for onboarding); ability to provide required documentation
- Successful background check, national criminal checks, drug screen, and other pre-employment clearances as required
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory instrumentation and testing methods
- Proficient in quality control processes and documentation
- Experience across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank
- Excellent communication skills with clinical teams and patients
- Accurate specimen handling, result verification, and troubleshooting abilities
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, competency testing, and safety protocols
- Comfortable shared housing arrangements (shared units) to help you settle in
- Travel assistance including airfare coordination and travel reimbursement support
