SUMMARYThe Operations Support Watch Officer will support Warfighter Operational Integration work with the Missile Defense Agency.

- Assist in the coordination, development, planning, and execution of operational events supporting the missile defense system using approved processes and procedures for configuration control, asset management, operational readiness, requests for analysis/information, planning, situational awareness, and training to maximize global and regional missile defense capabilities available to the warfighter
- Assist in conducting the business operations missions including: prime contractor support, infrastructure and information technology support, fiscal planning, and training support
- Support Ground-based Weapon System programmatic efforts, integration and scheduling, development and fielding, determination of cyber-security impacts, sustainment engineering and operation support efforts
- Must be able to work a shift schedule. The standard Watch Officer shift schedule is 7 days on shift / 7 days off shift
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience analyzing and reporting operational activities
- 2+ years of experience leading complex teams in an operational environment
- Experience collecting, analyzing and reporting operational readiness data and impacts
- Experience collecting and disseminating critical incidents and significant events
- Ability to understand and communicate asset management and configuration management impacts on a major weapon system
- Ability to assess information and make critical decisions
- Must possess exceptionally strong communications and analytical skills, be a self-starter, and detail oriented, work well with a team, interacts with multiple levels and functional areas and be able to manage customer and contractor relationship
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Active DoD Secret clearance required
