JOB SUMMARY
The Logistics Loader Operator & Warehousemanperforms various duties to manage the warehouse operations at including inventory management, demand reservation and fulfillment, issuing of material, and manager of two warehouse/expediting positions. This position directly manages all stock inventory orders for the Milne Point field and works hand in hand with the lead material coordinator. This position will direct the day‑to‑day operations of an expeditor and material handler.
This is a slope‑based role, working an 84‑hour work week, two weeks on two weeks off.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Follow safe work ethics, practices, and behaviors.
Understand the prioritization of safety, quality, and production, and work accordingly.
Follow work direction from the Lead Material Coordinator to assist with field needs, procurement and warehouse operations.
Be a strong leader, responsible for the inventory. Manage stock inventory in the inventory management system (EAMS).
Explore implementing innovative inventory management initiatives, including CMI/VMI, vending machines, and punchout.
Material Management:
Coordinate the issuance and purchase of all stock inventory materials.
Responsible for proper material master and modifications to existing proper material master .
Provide detailed material status reports to customer base and material coordinator lead as required.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issue with missing material, shipping problems, and mismarked material Identified by OS&D’s, suppliers and customers.
Responsible for the day‑to‑day work direction for a material handler, who unloads freight, manages in field deliveries.
Responsible for the day‑to‑day work direction for an expeditor position which completes freight pickups, deliveries, and passenger transport of approximately 100 camp residence on a weekly basis.
Occasionally drive the bus when the expeditor and material handler are unavailable.
Responsible for all hazardous shipments off the slope (IATA dangerous goods).
Operate light and medium weight trucks and forklifts to move material, pick up and transport materials in the field.
Working with the material handler to operate loader for unloading of trucks and movement of freight.
Other duties may be assigned such as specific areas of warehousing operations:
Inventory/Issue counter, Shipping/Receiving, Hazardous Materials Storage, Surplus, Drilling, Construction, and FWR staging.
Other duties will be assigned to this position as needs require.
Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
Support AES zero‑incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
Must have a valid driver’s license
A minimum of four (4) years related training or experience.
Strong knowledge of standard warehousing principles and practices, familiarity with oilfield production equipment, its maintenance, and standard parts.
Experience in MRO, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, rotating equipment, tubulars, engineered equipment or other technical material related experience.
Familiar with SAP and material coordination
