Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 36 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Candidates must have an Alaska license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program:
  Medefis Program - Yukon Kuskokwin Health Corporation (Non-MSP - VMS).

Preferred Skills/

Experience:

Pediatrics and adult experience preferred.

Required Credentials:
Completion of a nursing program from an NLN-approved institution required. Medication calculation math test for adults and pediatrics required upon arrival before working the floor. Clinicians who have completed Alaska’s License By Endorsement process and obtained temporary permit may be submitted.

Unit Details:
Placement will be at a regional clinic. Cares for patients from birth to elderly, including post-surgical and behavioral health patients.

Shift & Scheduling:
Day and night shifts.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
