• Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients across the lifespan, including birth through elderly, post-surgical, and behavioral health cases
• Conduct initial assessments and 24-hour reassessments; administer treatments and medications; interpret diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide quality, cost-effective, and efficient care; educate patients and families; advocate for patient outcomes
• Serve as a resource for the care team and assist with coordinating care; supervise unit secretaries and patient care technicians in collaboration with the Charge Nurse
• Apply age-specific considerations and cultural diversity in all patient interactions

• Active Alaska RN license in good standing
• Graduation from an NLN-approved nursing program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention Training (NVCI)
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination
• New graduates accepted; pediatrics and adult experience preferred

• Orientation provided during the first week of the assignment
