Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Nights

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide quality nursing care to all patients in a long-term care facility. The LPN serves as a vital member of the nursing staff, utilizing their scope of practice while ensuring respect for patient rights and dignity.

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and physical conditions.
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other medical staff.
• Participate in special committees as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Graduate from an LPN school and licensed in good standing in the State of Alaska.
• Current CPR certification (BCLS) required.
• One (1) year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred, but new graduates are accepted.
• IV certification course is required.

This position operates on a night shift schedule.

This is a 13-week contract position.
