Job Summary:

Provide quality nursing care to patients in a long-term care facility, ensuring respect for patient rights and dignity. Collaborate effectively within a nursing team to deliver comprehensive patient support.

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care following established scope of practice and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions, record observations, and report changes to medical staff.
• Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning efforts.
• Ensure adherence to infection control policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Licensed in good standing as an LPN in Alaska.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to pass and maintain clinical competencies pertinent to long-term care.
• Strong communication skills, including effective interaction with diverse patient populations.
• Basic proficiency with medical equipment and pertinent technology.
