Plant Electricians

Alaska General Seafoods is seeking experienced Plant Electricians to join their team at the Naknek, Alaska facility. This role involves maintaining and repairing electrical systems in a dynamic seafood processing environment. Ideal candidates will have strong electrical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

- At least 2-3 years of experience in electrical work
- Valid electrician’s license
- Proven experience as an electrician
- Experience in seafood industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
- Ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter)
- Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations
- Ability to work long, variable shifts (12-16 hours per day)
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and handle strenuous tasks
- Ability to pass all safety test requirements
- Strong project management skills
- Deep understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and components
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Efficient time management skills
