Carpenters - UIC Construction - Bethel, AK

UIC Construction LLC is seeking experienced Carpenters to join their team in Bethel, Alaska. This role involves constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures for various building projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive carpentry experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction environment.

• At least ten (10) years of verifiable experience in carpentry with a focus on new construction
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of general construction techniques and safe working practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and spec books
• Ability to work cleanly and respectfully on site
• Understanding of interrelated systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing)
• Ability to perform duties safely and proficiently with little supervision
• Reliable transportation and all necessary tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, crawl, kneel, climb, and stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to work at heights above 12’ and in extreme temperatures
• Ability to use personal protective equipment as required
• Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and background check if required
