Streets and Roads Operator-Driver
The Streets and Roads Operator-Driver operates construction equipment and vehicles, performs maintenance of such equipment, and may support the City’s CDL-driving functions and operate DOT vehicles in support of other Public Works functions during May 1 to Oct 31.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or the equivalent and at least three (3) years of experience in the operation of a variety of construction equipment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Special RequirementsClass A Commercial Driver’s license (CDL). Under the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), this position is subject to mandatory drug testing per title 49 CFR, Part 40. All applicants must meet FMCSA pre‑employment requirements prior to being allowed to perform safety‑sensitive functions or operate a covered City vehicle.
