Overview
Title: Manufacturing Engineer – ( Documentation - Medical Device)
Location: Bethel, CT (Onsite, Monday–Friday)
Employment Type: Contract – 12 months
Status: Accepting Candidates
About the RoleJoin a medical device manufacturing team in Bethel, CT, supporting design transfer from R&D to manufacturing. This role is documentation-focused and ideal for a junior to mid-level Manufacturing Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment. You will own and manage documentation rather than hands-on process development.
Key Responsibilities- Write and maintain work instructions (WI)
- Support PFMEAs, control plans, and inspection plans
- Manage DMR/QMS documentation and change control
- Coordinate closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams
- Support transfer readiness (BOMs, routers, inspection criteria)
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or similar role
- Experience in medical device manufacturing (GMP-regulated)
- Ability to read drawings;
Solid Works knowledge is a plus
