Description Position Summary

To ensure thorough, accurate and timely cash posting for services delivered at Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation patient care facilities. Responsible for the timely review and entry of third party payments.

Position Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College level course in Medical Terminology desirable
  • Six (6) months computer experience - MS Excel and Word
  • Alphabetical and numerical filing experience
  • Experience with printers, photocopiers, fax machines, and multi-line phone systems
  • Typing speed of 45 w.p.m. and 10-key by touch
  • Must have knowledge of Cerner Millennium, QSI
  • Applicant must have very good mathematical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Accuracy and dependability a must
  • Overtime may be required to meet monthly deadlines to ensure payment posting
  • Applicant must demonstrate very good time-management and organizational skills, which are required to maintain efficiency in meeting day-to-day expectations
