Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Social Worker for a 13-week travel assignment in Bethel, AK.

Uses a holistic approach in provision of medical social services to patients and their families to assist in solving or ameliorating physical, social, emotional, and/or environmental problems that retard or prevent patients from attaining or retaining optimum health. Social services are provided to people of all ages, from the intra-uterine through the elderly.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Document accurately and comply with facility policies and protocols
- Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
- Pay package details provided upon offer
- MSW (Master of Social Work) from an accredited school of Social Work
- One (1) year of experience in a hospital or health-care setting.
- State of Alaska license at Master’s level (LMSW) required.
- A valid Alaska State driver’s license is required.
- Basic knowledge of computer use.
- Prefer experience working in a cross-cultural setting with bilingual language skills in English & Yup'ik.
- Ability to read, comprehend & write at the college level & effectively present information in one-on-one & group situations to patients/clients, agencies, communities, & other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply/divide in all units of measure, with whole numbers, common fractions, & decimals; compute rate, ratio, percent; draw/interpret bar graphs.
- Should be able to perform supervisory tasks when the supervisor is away, work independently, and collaborate with other social workers.
