Quality Inspector on 2nd shift – for a leading precision manufacturer in the Danbury, CT . $30-$35 hr. This is a direct hire opportunity with benefits.
QC InspectorWhat You’ll Do:
Perform in-process, 1st piece, final, and first article inspections
Conduct shop floor walk-throughs to ensure parts meet blueprint and spec requirements
Use precision measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread/plug gages
Operate CMMs, Vision Systems, and Optical Comparators
Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T
Support ISO procedures and maintain inspection documentation
5+ years of experience in CNC
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T
Experience with CMMs and Vision Systems (programming a plus)
Familiarity with ISO quality systems
Self-driven, organized, and reliable work ethic
