The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization, serving nearly 30,000 people living across rural, southwest Alaska in villages with populations from about 10 to more than 1,000. Position Summary:
Employee will operate CHSB Retail Store including YKHC Gift/Coffee Shop and Injury Prevention Sales Shop. Activities include: opening and closing retail store each day, preparing and serving food and beverages, assisting customers with purchasing decisions, demonstrates correct use of merchandise, accurately handling cash, conducting inventory, maintaining a clean and orderly environment, building customer relations, communicating with the ICEMS Retail Store Manager and other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Some High School or equivalent.
- Prior experience in food service or retail operations.
- Valid Alaska Driver's License, or able to acquire one within one year.
- An understanding of coffee shop equipment, credit card merchant machine, cash register and calculator.
- Must posses strong math, communication and customer skills.
