Are you our next Electro Mechanic for our site in Bethel?
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform scheduled preventative maintenance on electro‑mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Your Role:As an Electro Mechanic, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing and industrial operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment and electronic systems. Your key tasks will include:
- Inspect, lubricate, adjust, and replace mechanical and electrical components as required.
- Document maintenance activities and report equipment condition and trends.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical failures, including bearings, motors, drives, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
- Identify root causes of mechanical breakdowns and recommend corrective actions.
- Align, assemble, and disassemble mechanical systems according to specifications.
- Diagnose issues with low‑voltage electronics, such as sensors, relays, PLC I/O, HMIs, and control circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Support startup, shutdown, and commissioning of equipment following maintenance or repair.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation to respond to emergency equipment failures.
- Provide troubleshooting support during production hours to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with operators, engineers, and other maintenance personnel to resolve issues efficiently.
We are looking to hire a knowledgeable Electro Mechanic with proven experience or a similar industrial maintenance role. You should have strong knowledge of mechanical and industrial electrical systems and hands‑on experience with high‑voltage equipment and low‑voltage control electronics.
Ability to troubleshoot complex electro‑mechanical failures independently, work safely in an industrial environment and respond to urgent repair needs.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, meters, and hand/power tools is a plus.
