GTA is seeking a full‑time Project Accountant to take ownership of the billing process across multiple offices, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
Hours of work:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Manage timely, accurate billing for projects across multiple offices.
- Prepare, review, and finalize invoices that reflect project scope and contract terms.
- Set up and maintain project data, including billing rates, payment terms, and client information.
- Collaborate daily with project managers, accountants, and senior leaders to ensure smooth billing operations.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies with accuracy and professionalism.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and insight.
- Build trusted relationships with internal teams and clients, becoming a reliable resource across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance or Business preferred).
- 2+ years of project billing or accounting experience—ideally in AEC, professional services, legal, or consulting industries.
- Experience utilizing an ERP system is required; exposure to BST Global, Deltek Vision, Axium, or other project‑based systems is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; thrives in complex, multi‑project environments.
- Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—builds strong, collaborative partnerships.
- Adaptability and curiosity—embraces evolving systems, processes, and technology.
