Accountant – Free Parking in Bethesda, MD.
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a school in the Bethesda area!
- Due to project, they are hiring a temporary Accountant to work in office.
- Free parking
- Schedule:
M-F, 8a-4p - Pay: $33-36/hr depending on experience
- Duration: approx. 6 weeks
Overview of the Accountant role:
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Reconcile endowment accounts (verify gifts and reconcile to bank accounts)
- Assist with payroll (185 employees, semi-monthly, multi-state) - SOP creation
- Ad hoc projects and reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree
- 3-5 years’ experience is preferred
- Veracross, Fund Driver, and Paylocity experience is a plus
- Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
